Aloha everyone! We are resuming our tours after our short break. Last night’s tour got up safely to some surface flow. The leading edge of the eastern lobe has reached the bottom of the Pali. The western lobe has also reached the bottom of the Pali and has also taken out Jack Tompson’s house. Jack was the last resident of the Royal Gardens subdivision, which is getting smaller and smaller with each lava flow. These flows are in response to the DI events, which can be found on the Hawaiian Volcanoes Observatory website. Today we have a morning tour and a 3:00 pm tour.Until next time, Aloha!
