Aloha! Tuesday night’s tour went well with both tour groups being able to get up close to safely view surface flows. Up on the Pali there is a big surface flow that is making it’s way down just east of the eastern flow from January. The eastern lobe is still advancing, but is still far from reaching where it previously was last week. This lobe is about 1.6 mi away from the ocean. The western lobe, however is still advancing towards the ocean and has multiple breakouts. This lobe is approximately 0.7mi-0.5mi away from the ocean and is still slowly advancing. The weather is a little unstable and we got sprinkled on a few times , but nothing really bad. Until next post, Aloha!
