Aloha Friday Everyone!! We were having some strange weather today, but we did have a 4:00 tour, and they were able to successfully see lava. The tour went great! In fact, it went so great that today’s tour is actually in the top 3 for fastest tour time.
Aloha Viewers! Tonight our groups were able to safely get up to surface flows. The activity was noticeably slower due to DI deflation, which started yesterday. The tilt meter is now recording inflation so we should be expecting activity to pick up soon.
This and more info can also be found on the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory Website.
Still, we are letting our groups know that there may be a decreased to minimal amount of activity. For more info call (808) 936-0456. Until next time , Aloha!
