The flows on the coastal plains have started back up and have increased in activity since last night. Our guides were able to get our guests up close to multiple surface flows safely. Surface flows were visible from the base of the pali and extending out approximately 1 mi. from the base of the pali. The surface flow up on the pali (visible from the Kalapana Viewing Area) has advanced since last night and could be seen burning one small Kipuka in it’s path. Tonight’s weather was cooperative and skies were clear. Now is a good time to book your tour. Until next time, Aloha!
