Aloha Everyone! Tonight we had two tours go out and both tours viewed lava safely. The eastern lobe of the flows on the coastal plains has advanced about 1/2 mi from the base of the Pali. The activity was good with multiple breakouts  that were seen. There is also lava up in the abandoned Royal Gardens subdivision. These flows can be seen making it’s way down and is almost about to reach the steepest part of the Pali.

The flow coming down the eastern edge of the Royal Gardens subdivision is also just about to reach the base of the Pali. This flow is very active and as the daylight waned, the glow from this flow could be seen and it is fairly widespread. Overall activity s good and now would be a good to book your tour. Until next time, Aloha!
