August 13, 2012 Lava Tour Update

Aloha and we hope everyone is having a great day. Well we just like to add the activity is really high. For the past 3 days we have been seeing some incredible flows on the coastal plains. The summit is still inflating after almost five days non-stop. That is very interesting just to say the least. We haven’t seen this kind of behavior for a very long time. So the activity is very high. There are two lobes on the coastal plains. The western lobe, which is a little further and less active than the eastern lobe, which is a lot closer. The eastern lobe is approximately 1/2 of a mile from the base of the Pali and moving east at this time. It seems to have a lot of pressure behind this flow. Many breakouts could be seen and good size breakouts too. The 4pm tour which was lead by Andrew stayed out for almost over two hours because of the activity. The 5pm tour was lead by JoJo, who also stayed longer then usual, also stayed out at the lava field longer then expected. Come join us and book a tour for this week. Well it is happening right now. Don’t miss it for the world. ALOHA!
