Aloha everyone! Tonight’s tours were pretty much identical as August 13, 2012 tours. The Lava was about 150 yards from the previous nights tours. Awesome viewing tonight. Still the tilt meter at the summit and Pu’u O’o crater haven’t made any movement. Little movements on the meter but still above average scale. The tilt meter had recorded the ground tilt at just below +1 microdians. That means a lot of Lava is still in the system. On the HVO webcam page the coastal plains were very active. The activity is approximately 1/2 mile from the base of the Pali. Just incredible activity. Aloha and have a great day. Mahalo!
