Another beautiful day! The coastal plains flow is spreading out and is slightly advancing. Multiple surface breakouts were visible tonight and our groups were able to get up close to some nice surface flows safely. Up on the Pali there are what look like red dots, but are actually surface flows making their way slowly toward the brink of the Pali. Currently the tilt meter, which can be found on the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory website, is recording an ongoing inflation. This could mean that the lava activity may increase depending on how long the inflation lasts. Overall activity is good and may actually increase with the inflation, so book your tour to experience this phenomenon with us.. Aloha!
