February 13,2013 Guided Lava Tour Update

Aloha everyone! Lava flows on the coastal plains remained active with a few ocean entries and lots of surface activity. The ocean entry was amazing as always but seems to be slowing just a bit. There were 4 entry points that was visible from our vantage point but clearly at dark there were more entry points just south of our viewing point. The southern part of the ocean entry was not visible from our point but we could see the bright glow from the south entry points. The most eastern ocean entry still remained active but sluggish. The ocean entries were awesome though. As for the surface flows our guests were treated to some impressive breakouts just feet away from there feet. We were blessed with some rivers of Lava entering the ocean and also some surface activity just cascading into a low crevasse. The viewing was safe and awesome. Both of the activity such as surface activity and ocean entry activities are rear at this time. Our guests were treated with both. Book a tour now while the Lava is flowing. Aloha and A Hui Hou!
