Aloha Gang! We still weren’t able to see any surface flow up close tonight, but we did see the ocean entry and it is still very active. There are two main spots where the lava is entering the ocean. There is a surface flow that is making it’s way down the Pali, but it is near the top still. This flow cannot be seen during the day, but is visible from our tour area and the Kalapana Lava Viewing area. This flow as well as the Kahauale’a flow may be the reason for the lack of surface flows near the ocean entry. Still it is a beautiful night, Aloha!
