Aloha! Lava is still flowing into the ocean and can be seen from a safe vantage point, while surface flows have stalled in the vicinity of the ocean entry. The Big Island is continuing to grow as lava enters the ocean. The stalled activity is due to the surface flows that have broken out near the base of the Pali and the Kahaualea flows which are currently burning the Kahaualea Natural Area Reserve. Despite these surface breakouts, the ocean entry continues to be active and is amazing. Aloha and A Hui Hou!
